No formal feasibility studies have been presented to the city as of yet......

I think it will serve them well to wait for the $100 million sport complex for the students to be finished first......

I would think the best interim solution would be to play 70% of the most attractive games at FiServ and play the "buy games" at the Mecca.....

Clearly the percentage the arena takes is "too" much and leaves a lot of extra money on the table for the university.....

I don't know the ins and outs of the UW Milwaukee arena, but having 3 venues with 10K+ seats within .75 miles of each other seems like overkill for a city.

Correct! While, the old MECCA, now UWM Panther Arena is 65 years old, would still be nicer than an arena Marquette would build. Where would people park? Lack of bars and restaurants.

Also, Marquette season ticket break down of 11k. 3k is student season tickets.

Wait are you saying the Mecca would be better than an arena marquette would build? I haven't seen the inside since my graduation mass but the mecca was a dump when I was there for that. If you're saying that there would be lack of bars, parking etc for a Marquette arena I'm not sure that's an issue, the lot just north of wells plus the lot on 16th would be fine. Lack of restaurants and bars is valid, Wild and Pilarz made sure to close down any decent bar not named Caffs and Murphs. Though on WI by library hill I've heard there's some decent newer spots?
