BIG EAST Chosen To Represent USA Basketball in Pan-Am Games

Last week it was announced that Val Ackerman would be on the Providence campus with Ed Cooley for a major announcement. We were told that it has nothing to do with expansion. Really have no idea what this could be... lots of speculation... re-start baseball program (that would be cool)? New on-campus arena (that would make no sense)? Anyway, at 1pm we'll find out.

I'd be curious as to the coaching staff as well. Jordan, Wojo, Steele, et al. I imagine he would take some of the younger coaches. Interesting.
