You really want to complain about calls? Go rewatch SJU's last game and then take a seat and feel bad for crying about the officiating in a 20 point blow out.

Why would I complain about that? I don't give a damn about SJU. Bottom line is you guys had multiple times kicking the ball away after dunks (delay of game) got away with starting a fight and we somehow got T'd up. Look we played like crap and you guys lit us up, but you got a lot of makeup from the refs.

Howard was harassed all game and didn't get comfy but no doubt he will go right back to dropping 30+ he's a special player. Honestly surprised how well we contained the Hausers and Theo...thought he would eat us for breakfast considering our only big man is Keita. In that scuffle by the way he pushed Ponds and Ponds pushed him back. Mullin stood in between them trying to break it up but there was fault on both sides. We have a real reason to bring up the refs because we lost 100% because of them. Anyone bringing up refs in a complete blowout from start to finish is just sour grapes.
We all knew this SJ team could beat anyone but the key will be stringing together wins instead of winning 1 and losing right after. If this is a real deal SJ team we will beat G'Town in DC and maybe we get ranked but I doubt it. The pundits hate us even though we just beat Seton Hall and Marquette. We are still technically undefeated. Give us our time in the sun, no one has been hit harder by bad news and terrible luck than St. John's in this conference considering all the talent that has passed through here. If we want the Big East maximized we need a good and relevant SJ team. Great win tonight and no doubt Marquette will be fine.

I see absolutely nothing in any of the MU fans posts discussing potential partisanship or make-up calls on the refs part that could be remotely perceived or construed as "sour grapes". These "sour grapes" posters preface literally and/or imply that whether favoritism existed or not, the overwhelming consensus is that, in any scenario that night, St. John's was the superior team for those two hours. Hell, some St. Johns fans also chimed in with exactly the same sentiment. NO MU fan is saying that the refs in any way caused them to lose the game, yet merely that they may have had a pro St. Johns agenda (consciously or subconsciously) due their colleague's colossal f#ck up in the Seton Hall game.

Really nice article....Wojo was very complimentary....this is a good year for SJU to have some success while all of the NY pro teams are mediocre or terrible.....lots of options in NY for sports fans so it’s tough to get traction.....

GTFOH with the delay of game BS. Also your boy had Ponds arm and ball. But yeah thats why you lost by 20 points some delay of games and a late game double T. Yup, those refs sure were out to get you tonight. hahaha I'm sure there will be a public statement from the league about how the refs screwed you guys in a couple of days. Just wait for it.
