Creighton @ Butler SJU @ G'town Nova @ PC Xavier @ Marq. SHU @ DePaul
- Butler needs to (and does) make a stand - SJU brings the Hoyas back down to Earth - OT thriller home win at the Dunk - Marq. takes out frustrations on X - DePaul gets first win
The four winless teams get on the board and the conference quagmire begins.
Creighton (Butler just hasn't looked good lately) SJU (SJU with too many options on offense and too much experience) PC (Nova still not up to what we're used to seeing) Marq (Howard's struggle could continue against X's length, but X just doesn't have enough on offense) Depaul (my upset pick. Depaul looked good against nova. they break thru at home against SHU)
What I'd like to happen: Creighton @ Butler- doesn't really matter SJU over G'town Nova over PC Marq. over Xavier SHU over DePaul
My line predictions: Creighton @ Butler- Creighton -1 SJU @ G'town- SJU -2 Nova @ PC- Nova -3 Xavier @ Marq.- Marq -7 SHU @ DePaul- SHU -2
No clue on what actually happens. Most of these lines will be within 2-3 points, so really they are nearly all toss ups. Should make for some great TV.
View from my seat... Creighton ovr Butler... matters to me. Gtwn ovr StJ PC ovr Nova Marq. over Xavier SHU over DePaul

SHU @ DePaul is interesting. Seton Hall is a strong 2nd half team and DePaul has choked down the stretch in multiple games so far this season. The Pirates have been the 2nd luckiest major conference team this season, at least according to Kenpom. DePaul is the unluckiest team in the Big East.
