Hopefully both of us keep winning to set up our first matchup. Would get a lot of publicity for the conference

I don't think the Hokies are a top 10 team.

My guess for tomorrow:

11 Marquette
14 Nova

I think Marquette jumps the Hokies, but behind Kansas due to h2h.
Nova at minimum passes by Maryland, Texas Tech, Buffalo, and Auburn.

Uh, Villanova is 14... guess you're talking besides those two. I'm not worried too much about rankings as much as getting 5 in the Dance. I think it's definitely possible, need a couple to step up and a couple to roll over and play dead. That's what's the real problem we have literally NO BAD TEAMS. Thought that would help our NET and RPI more but apparently we were better off being stronger at the top. Also the fact that four football conferences are unusually strong this year, which gets back to my point of getting 5 teams in tourney and all doing well.

Lol, no.

We started BE play with only one ranked team (around #20) and nobody nationally relevant. Now we have two teams that are legit March contenders. Casual fans tune into top 10/15 match ups and care about teams that can do damage in March. It also helps that Nova is one of those teams.

You could argue it's bad for the league in terms of number of bids (which it likely will be), but in terms of top teams this is the best case scenario given where we started conference play.

Congrats to Nova and Marquette for keeping the Big East relevant this year.

Even though I am from the "two"......

We are a league of "ten"......

Getting 4 to 6 bids shows the strength of the conference.....

Not having two top heavy teams....

Long term bad for the conference.....

And they will use "NET" against us......
