Pretty good game. That touchdown before halftime really helped Va Tech! I don't know how you score 24 in a game. They were at nineteen with about 11:00 to play in the second half, so they scored 5 the rest of the way. If it had been against VA, I could understand the score a little more. Lowest score in shot clock history!

i'd be really curious if we've ever had a city with 3 championships in a year. They have Red Sox and Patriots now. Celtics are 34-19 and definitely a factor in the NBA. Bruins are at 63 points and would be in the NHL playoffs. Wouldn't be a shock if either won the title this year to add to that.

I can't think of any. I think Philly had 4 teams advance to the finals from the summer of 1980 to the Super Bowl the following year, which was January 1981. 4 Finalists within 7 months or so, but only the Phillies won the title.

Can't believe UConn is getting blown out by 26 against Temple at the half, 46-20.

After their ranked win against Syracuse earlier this season, I thought they were back. Next year should be better, but don't think they'll make a big enough jump to bring them back to relevance.
