Yeah something is seriously wrong when you lose at home to DePaul, Georgetown, and Providence and can't win more than 1 in a row. We were favored by at least 5 points in all 3 games. This team collapses as soon as our backs aren't up against the wall. Had we been ranked pre-season by the AP, I bet we would've lost 3 OOC games. Ironically, all the talk about how bad our schedule was probably forced the team to wake up and win every game, because we had no other choice.

This team has no business dancing if they can't get up when faced with "prosperity" (and I use that term lightly, because Nova and Marquette are the only Big East teams to truly achieve that this year).

SJU is probably 9-3, at least 8-4 with healthy Ponds and Heron, and without the blown call vs. Seton Hall. More importantly, I thought the expectation was supposed to be an at-large bid? With the only big man going down early and missing precious tune-up time, I think SJU's in-season performance deserves some leeway.

St John's has that look of a classic 8/9 team quite frankly....

Yeah I posted that before our must win against Butler, which fortunately we did win but just barely. So yes, making the Tournament has always been the expectation. After yesterday that is now looking more likely.
