Villanova had taken like 24 free throws... lol... and PC had taken like 4... lol... even though Nova shoots like 50 threes a game... lol... that was great, loved that... lol... and then in a 1 point game with 8 to play... lol... when you couldn't stop Watson cuz you have no big men... lol... so you just f-cking hacked his forearm to steal the ball...

[at this point picture me sitting at a desk, with my forehead placed on the desktop, with me slamming my right palm down repeatedly in uncontrollable laughter as i try to talk thru the hysterics] ... lol... and then Booth did the stiff arm old skool 3 point play... lol... and then next possession Paschal had the ball in the far corner... lol... and traveled with like 4 stutter steps... lol... but it wasn't called... lol... and then he drove to the hoop, lost it, then 3 Nova guys tackled the Friar with no foul called... lol... and the ball squirted into the near corner and then Bey hit a three... like an 8 point swing occurred which ended the game... lol... yeah those refs!

F-ck this... lol... you f-cking won 2 titles in 3 years so you've actually earned the right to get every whistle... i'm happy for you... and PC plays the role of the team that gets f-cked continously... lol... no no no i'm not delirious... i'm totally sane... i feel like a Red Sox fan in 2003 or a Patriot fan in 2000... lol...!!!

*one of those was a stupid technical foul by Duke. So “lol” PC was called for a grand total of 2 more fouls than Nova during actual gameplay.

But those refs...

Did you realize that Nova actually out-scored PC in the paint? EZ Ed ran our boys off the 3 point line so we drove the ball. So your theory about Nova hoisting 3’s all game is not accurate. Also it seemed clear that Ed was trying to be physical with the smaller Nova guards all game. I found it wildly amusing that you missed Alpha and Duke’s hand fighting all night long but when Phil engaged them back you expect an offensive foul. On one drive Alpha actually pinned Booth’s left hand between his arm and torso and when Phil yanked it back Alpha cried that he pushed off. Boo freakin’ hoo!

But those refs...

The final score was an 18 point spread. Let’s take back 10 fouls or missed TO’s (thatbwere clearly called as a conspiracy against the Friars) and give PC those possessions. Figure with their shooting they make 1 more 3 and maybe three other FG’s... You guys STILL lose by 9.

But those refs....

...that is the mantra of every frustrated losing fan base who can’t come to terms with their team just not being better on a particular night. I’ll give you a homework assignment BJack. After PC’s next win, go visit the opposing teams boards and tell me how many posters complain about the refs. “But those refs!”

Yup, he does.... Seems to work though.

On the other hand, its not like he is a newbie that hasn't had calls go against him in his tenure. Every fan base bitches about calls. The Nova boards were indignant last night about the second half sequence of fouls and some suggested Diallo should have gotten a fragrant for hooking booth on the play PC fans say Booth pushed off. One other thing on Booth. He will inevitably get 1 moving screen called against the opponents every game. The rules enforced say the player needs to come to a stop on the handoff/pick and not keep moving. Watch what happens when a player doesn't do do that, Booth collides and it is called. Diallo did it last night. Seems to me its a pretty smart play if that is what the rule is---its not a bogus call just because you don't like it, it's the rule.

Finally, Nova does appear to get less fouls on many occasions than opponents and opponents often gripe about the physical nature Nova plays (particularly Out of Conference). It happens consistently and Nova continually "gets away" with the physical D (Michigan fans last year were in an uproar on their Board about the perceived clutching, grabbing, head fakes leading to foul shots, junmp stop pivot walks, at some point you have to admit it just might be the coaching.
