Too many other comments to respond to each. I can do it if yiu guys want... but i don't want to subject this board to more derangement.

Not anymore controversial than pointing out that Duke and Diallo especially, blatantly clutch, grab, and hold on defense. Then turn around and act shocked when a foul is rightfully called.

I am not going to act like Jay doesn't work the refs--he does. But any Friar fan who watched that game last night and just ignores that Cooley was non-stop working the refs is not being honest.

I'm not gonna comment on the refs because I didn't see the game, but I will say that Jay Wright works the refs more than any other coach in the league.

On a positive note, we increased/decreased? our defensive efficiency 30 spots against creighton aka we showed a few signs of progress. hopefully it continues.

Woah woah if we are having a “working the ref” competition I would like to formally nominate Chris Mullin into the conversation.

He may even do it more than Jay

Not to argue, but that was an awful game and didn't really reflect good defense, If either team could have shot well, they would have won by 20. CU misses half their layups and tosses the ball away ( as did Xavier). CU without it's pt guard Marcus Z can't run its offense and "our shooters" weren't looking to shoot. One of the worse games I've witnessed under Mac. It does hurt that basically, 3 of our top 7 young players have been out.

Not taking anything away from Xavier- take the win and run.
