Butler really needs a PG that poses some kind of scoring threat from the outside. When the other team can sag 10 feet off your PG it makes it really hard to run an effective offense. Reminds me of Marquette when we had Derrick Wilson at PG. He was a great defender, but we were playing 4 on 5 every offensive possession.

Dayton beat Butler so theres that. I could see them in 4th or even 3rd considering St. Johns inconsistency. They beat St. Louis something Seton Hall or Butler couldn't do.

Just stop with this. The A10 sucks. Dayton apparently is fine playing at that level.

You're in no position to be making statements about UD being capable of performing at the 3rd or 4th best team level in the BE. You have no idea what it is like playing a full league schedule in the BE.

XAVIER would mop the floor with VD at this point, and that's X being in a full transition year.

Oh please vcu and Davidson would also be at the top of the big east this year. Don't act all high and mighty  . We're better than the A10 in overall quality of teams for sure. But their top teams could contend with ours especially if its a home and away kind of deal.

Davidson lost to LaSalle tonight. It was running across the screen tonight during the Nova / Marquette game. You want to continue with your stupid position.

Yes jfan, my apologies. Add Creighton to that list! We have already shown we can get many different programs ranked and we have shown how we are easily the toughest conference in the country top to bottom. For the most part we have gotten a good number of bids since 2013. Recruiting has been good. Attendance has been great. We just need to perform in the tourney...don't want to hear about seeds 24/7. Cuse was a 10 and 11 seed and they went very deep back to back years recently. You find a way to survive and advance. Can't keep saying stuff like "well, Seton Hall lost to Kansas so it's ok because they're Kansas". Mid major thinking. You have to expect you have a real shot especially with that ridiculously talented and experienced SHU team. Hanging around is not enough...must start getting some teams to Sweet 16 or deeper consistently.
