I'm really hoping for a St. John's - Seton Hall game tomorrow. Just imagine the energy in the building for a session with that game following a Villanova game. While I don't think the Hall matches up that well with the Johnnies, I think it's a game that would be huge for metro-area basketball.

Pretty big win for Nova IMO. Probably clinches them avoiding the 7 seed moshpit if you will.

I think you can make the case that it might be better for them to lose tomorrow- a win and they're starting to get close to that 5 line, which would mean a 1 seed in the sweet 16. statistically speaking, not a huge difference between a 5 seed and 6 seed in getting to the sweet 16- 5 seeds have gone 46 times to 42 times for 6 seeds. But what is crazy is getting to the elite 8- 5 seeds have gone to the elite 8 only 8 times, compared to 14 times for 6 seeds...

So a Nova loss tomorrow helps them out IMO and it probably clinches Creighton/Xavier a bid.

Hankins having a day with Jones in foul trouble. Rough start but X settling in now.

I think it would clinch for creighton, but i think we probably still have to win the whole thing to get in

lets look-
For Xavier a win tomorrow vs Nova and then a loss in the title game- assuming that's a Q1 loss.....
Xavier would be 5-9 vs Q1. 5-4 vs Q2. 19-15 overall....
Creighton would be 4-11 vs Q1. 7-3 vs Q2. 19-14 overall....

I don't see that much of a difference. big better record for Creighton, BUT Xavier would have the extra Q1 win.

I really think Xavier would get in with a win over Nova, unless there's stuff like bid thieves from MWC(current Boise 42 Nevada 39), Pac 12(currently Washington 50 USC 45), etc.- that would dramatically shrink the bubble.

Whew...survive and advance

Pretty thankful for the senior transfer rule right now. Lot of help on the way but Z, Castlin and Welage have been huge late season

Can't wait for Nova tomorrow
