Sure, just go ahead and take all the wonder and mystery out of my day. Same neck of the woods, though.

Unless there's something I'm missing, they get UConn's 20 games plus the 10 other Big East programs all play an extra 2 conference games, getting you to an extra 40 regular-season games, plus the extra Wednesday matchup in the tournament making 41.

Plus you get a full slate of UConn women's games that are either saleable either as broadcasts of your own or, at worst, licensed to SNY. All in all they probably get at least 50-55 extra broadcastable games and some leftover stuff to resell. I still don't think that Fox feels the need to do anything with the contract quite yet, though.

Doesn't work this way. Uconn@Butler + Butler@Uconn counts as 2 games, not 4.

Also, it's not even 20 extra games (21 with BET) if some of the extra games are replacing OOC home games that would have been on Fox anyway.

Correct. Yet, it is 20 more conference games for FOX Sports. They will lose around 20 non conference buy games. Which adds to FOX Sports value of the TV deal.

Mostly buy games, yeah, should be net positive in both quality and quantity.
