He will if healthy enough to log in at least 15 games. If he gets to 20 games it’s a no brainer at roughly 17 per. His career scoring number will also be interesting to follow. Not going to be easy to crack this list......no way he gets close to McDermott though.

We have a ridiculous amount of what ifs. In no particular order

The Ohio State phantom free throws to end our undefeated season.
The Rick Mount Purdue shot ending our run a couple years before
Spurning the NCAA for the NIT when we were ranked 7th
The ejection in 78 that lead to us losing to Miami of Ohio.
The Al McGuire ejection in 74 that lead to us losing to NC State in the championship
Travis Deiner getting injured in 05 after starting with an unreal record
Dominic James breaking his foot when we were 24-4 ranked 8th in 2009
Vander Blue pointlessly leaving early when we were on the cusp instead making the wheels come off the program

The thing about "what ifs" though is that they go both ways - what if the clock had started on time in the 77 Final Four and Charlotte wins that game (and probably the championship)? I tend to think "what ifs" wash out over the years (as long as you're not a mid-major, etc.).

Finally confirmed that Denzel Mahoney will be eligible for Creighton after first semester this year. He transferred from SEMO after averaging 19.3ppg, but left the team during the second semester of his redshirt year to go home for a personal matter. Since a transfer needs to be enrolled for two semesters before they can play, he will need to sit the first semester of this year.

Mahoney, a 6-foot-5, 255-pound wing, averaged 19.3 points per game for Southeast Missouri State as a sophomore in 2017-18. During practices with the CU squad last year, he displayed an ability to score at multiple levels — he was one of the team’s most consistent 3-point shooters. His length defensively (6-foot-11 wingspan) could make him an asset on the other end, too.

I have high expectations for him. No one on the team like him. Too bad we cant get a full 2 seasons out of him but this is better than nothing....I think he will be a difference maker.
