Top 50 Players in the Big East

Postby TAMU Eagle » Mon Oct 07, 2019 10:09 pm

Paint Touches has been doing this countdown for the past 3 years. For year number 4, we decided to go a little bigger. We teamed up with contributors from all ten Big East squads to get a truly neutral perspective on the top 50 players in the Big East. We'll be posting segments every few days but part 1 is now live. Hope you all enjoy!

Love the concept, and looking forward to rest of it. A little surprised EW went with Moore over Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree for our 5th player, but defensible choice.

DePaul's Butz is about right. Both (DePaul) Darious Hall and Charlie Moore are too low. I'd put Hall in the 31-40 group and Moore in the 21-30 group.

You might be more surprised when he goes with DCR over JRE. I think Eric, and many around the program, are expecting Jay to go with experience over talent (at least initially). EW predicted a Colin G—Moore—Bey—Samuels—DCR starting lineup. So 2 top 20 recruits coming off the bench... First world problems. ;)

Segment two is live. We have our first Friars, our first Musketeer, and an embarrassment of Bulldogs in this segment.

I would be shocked if DCR starts over JRE.

When can we expect 30-21? I'm enjoying it!

There is no way that Darious Hall is the worst player on this list.

Maybe, but there has to be better players that won't make top 50.
