NCAA Board of Governors unanimously voted to permit student athletes the opportunity to benefit from use of their name and likeness.

In my opinion this is great news... fair and forward-thinking. I'm surprised the NCAA voted this way, and it gives me hope when sensible decisions are made. It seems too often things in life get unnecessarily stuck in the Middle Ages.

Well with California already on board...and 8 to 10 other states considering NIL laws, it was inevitable. NCAA is getting onboard so that they will have a voice in the conversations.
It was either get on board or get run over by the NIL Mack truck.
