Usually just exhibitions and 1 ooc game a year, though this year they'll play a second ooc game here due to the Prudential Center being unavailable.

Yea, no harm in playing a NEC team or two on campus. Actually in favor of it just for convenience for the students.

I mean, I know it's DePaul, but we're really going to count D-3 Marian?

Ugly first half for CU, but we’re technically playing without three starters - Epperson, Mintz, and now Jefferson is in a boot.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Well it's very early and still cupcake season but man Seton Hall looked like a monster. That 7-2 big man is a freak of nature who can block shots, rebound, and slam it in easily. Hope he's ok after rolling ankle. Seton Hall is absolutely massive and deep. Even the guards are as tall as 6-6. Powell still drives the boat, but now there may be a real supporting cast. Also watched Xavier who looked every bit as advertised and Nova who just picks up where they left off...different cast, same under control, extremely well-disciplined, great shooting, smart team that plays together. And that's in game 1 of the season with a lot of inexperience. Just a testament to Jay Wright. It feels weird being so relaxed watching a team comfortably win so often like Nova and knowing they keep their foot on the gas all game. Kind of the opposite of my Johnnies where I watch with anxiety and frustration most of the time.

IMO, the two most intriguing teams this year/teams with the most question marks are st. johns and butler and those are the only two not playing tonight. if both of them are better than expected, the league will be an absolute monster.

Good night all around. Every team looked good.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Because of the injuries, CU started a true freshman from Omaha (remember Patton & Thomas?) named Shereef Mitchell. Here was his line: Eight points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. It was just Kennesaw St, but nice start for the freshman!
