The first ever college hoops game on Fox Sports 1 will be Providence hosting Boston College at 6pm EST on November 8th... can't wait for the game, and hopefully the Friars come out of the gate fast...!

It is simply incredible how many Big East games are going to be national TV this season. Absolutely fantastic.

The schedule really is amazing. The OOC slate is amazing too. It's a college basketball fan's dream. Fans in the northeast are going to love this. This deluge of OOC games allows all fans to get familiar with all players on all teams-- they'll be household names by the time the regular season starts. The familiarity will build more and more interest. This really goes back to the old school Big East, where we knew the top 8-9 guys on each team. And this is what we didn't have any more in the ESPN-designed Big East.

I mean, man, there are games almost every night!

I took the releases and the other known TV games and compiled it together in one list. As more non-conference TV games get announced, I'll add it in.

I did this when Creighton was in the MVC and it wasn't nearly as big with TV games as this is. The sheer amount of games now with FS1 and the Big East had me split it into Non-Conference and Conference TV games. Hopefully this is helpful:

ESPN contract with Dish is up at the end of the month. I'm sure they will work something out but interesting nonetheless.

SB Nation article on Fox's "gamble" on the Big East. Not sure this guy knows how Omaha supports Creighton. We do not play second-fiddle in Omaha during basketball season. Also, interesting that FS1 is outdrawing ESPNU and NBC Sports Network. I think that's pretty decent. I don't think we can expect FS1 to outdraw ESPN or ESPN2 for awhile.

my understanding is DISH is considering not renewing ESPN-Disney and offering a lower priced alternative to tv markets minus the expensive ESPN sports package.
