St. John’s isn’t gonna blow anyone away with their talent, but they are scrappy and battle hard on every possession.

Which is a welcome contrast from the Lavin AND Mullin eras

Creighton trying to hold on 67-63. Getting late.

Nice scrappy win by Creighton. I suspect La Tech will be a top 100 team. Nice win.

Never would’ve guessed that a grad transfer from Idaho State would be our most important player.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Jones is definitely providing quality in a critical role for CU.

Butler keeps taking care of business with a 19 point win over a pretty good Wofford team.

I think Butler is flying under the radar a bit. I know it’s early, but they are up to #22 on kenpom.

So far Butler and Depaul look better than I thought they would. Georgetown worse. Everyone else somewhere around what I expected.

Wonder if we'll see Marquette and Butler in next week's top 25. Also, wonder if we'll drop out of it. I'm gonna guess we'll stay in, but drop a few spots.

If Marquette wins tomorrow, they might crack it. Butler probably no.

Not too worried about Butler. Will know a lot more about them soon. Stretch of games coming up against Mizzou, Oklahoma/Stanford, Ole Miss, Florida, Baylor and Purdue before Big East play. Just hope they can come out of it healthy and mentally focused.
