(3) Thursday Big East Games 11/21/19

Biggest OOC game of the year. If we can put together a complete 40 minutes and get by Texas we'll get a crack at Duke and the NET boost that comes with it win or lose. Nothing in the first 4 games indicate we have a chance, but hope springs eternal.

I've said months ago that GU is top 4 BEast and stand by it regardless of early returns. Just too blown away by the 2018 freshman 3, and now that LeBlanc is healthy and ready to compliment Big Yurt....look out!

Congrats to VU for a sound thrashing of a over matched MTSU squad....especially from a BBIQ standpoint. IF Gillespie can play like that and INSPIRE your young roster, Nova will be there when the dust clears. GQJ just too good to expect otherwise.

we've played well. still a little ugly on offense, but better than it's been. defense has been an absolute monster though. refs have kept towson in the game

I don't think most Big East fans cared much about the Xavier/Towson game other than Xavier fans. I believe most felt that would be a rout in Xavier's favor.

This Georgetown/Texas game is all but officially over. But it's over for all intent and purpose. A few more games like this one and Shaka Smart might be sent packing. There were whispers from Longhorn faithful that Smart was on the hot at the end of last season. The NIT run and championship may have bought him another season or two. He's been rather mediocre in his near five year stint at Texas.
