I am always a big fan of group dynamics and in general that every group needs a clear and identifiable leader. This Xavier team is challenging that belief. The natural inclination is to want Goodin to step into that role but that doesn't seem to be his personality. Scruggs seems possible but is very inconsistent and I think it has shown in his confidence.

But lacking this clear leader, I think its still possible Steele could form a team identity and get the best out of all of them. They play hard and all seem to love playing for Steele, will be interesting to see how this works out.

The balance on Steele’s teams so far is very reminiscent of Sean miller’s teams in particular the 2008 elite eight team. We had 5 or 6 guys who averaged double figures on that team. Steele seems to do a good job of distributing the scoring

6-0, with one win in 2OTs, 1 in a single OT, and one by 3 points, all over teams outside the top 50 in KenPom and Sagarin ratings. So how long can we keep this up? No quit in X, and we look great on defense, but the offense goes missing for long stretches when we settle for 3's, and the free throw shooting is truly atrocious. Florida looks to be the toughest game yet, and the offense needs to improve considerably for us to stay unbeaten.

Congrats Muskies. What an environment from the 2 teams that brought all the fans. I will be rooting for you to skull drag Cindy later this year.

As far as UCONN is concerned, I can't wait til we're cleansed of Ollie's players. Hurley's recruits have really bought in and are carrying the team. Bouknight is gonna do great things. Can't wait for next year!

There are *maybe* one or two programs/fan bases in the American that can help provide that type of atmosphere in Charleston. A great reminder of what UConn has been missing in the AAC. I’m sure they’re bummed because it was certainly a tough loss, but their fans have to be pumped at thought of the return of those kinds of games at MSG instead of in some empty gym in Orlando or Ft. Worth.

Most of the people who didn't like the move were most concerned about football scheduling and bowl agreements. Scheduling has gone much better than expected and a bowl agreement is in the works (even UMass just finalized one).

There's nothing left for them to upset about (unless they're just one of those that likes to ***** for the sake of *****ing).

2021 MSG is gonna be even more lit than it is now!
