No. Not ever.
Ohio State/Penn State was FOX's highest rated game of the season. Big Noon Saturday has done very well. Has lead into the mid afternoon slot to improve as well.

Anybody notice ESPiN stopped putting FS1 next to teams on their scores page? Had to go to my school site to see the SD state game is on FS1 on Thursday. They were doing that our first year, stopped the past few and apparently are blocking info again. Pathetic. Especially with all the love the announcers were throwing

Not sure if that is the case. The App list games for FS1. I do see the SD State/Creighton game is not listed. Yet, I don't think it's a ESPN thing.

Anyone else get the feeling that the Big East is negotiating with ESPN, or at least holding off on a Fox extension until they're legally allowed to (whenever that is)? I think someone said that a revised Fox contract may come this upcoming summer when UConn starts playing games, but if the Big East was all in on Fox then wouldn't they want to start getting a higher payout now? This of course assumes the extension would also include higher payouts for the next several years, which would almost certainly be the case.

Usually with this stuff there is some smoke. For UConn for instance, there was smoke for at least a year leading up to the announcement. ESPN announcers have been praising the Big East this year, and contrary to one of the above post I haven't come across Fox/FS1 not being listed on ESPN.com. I feel that's an outlier and unintentionally left off. Also, last year ESPN made reference to the "Power 6" in basketball (with the Big East being included in their graphics). That was during our worst season.

All that said, as a fan I actually prefer Fox. I really like having every game available on FS1/FS2/Fox/CBS/CBS SN. I follow NC State pretty closely (my brother's school) and many of those games (especially OOC) aren't available on cable. That's of course for their biggest college basketball conference, and their recent AAC deal isn't that great either. Ultimately though, I do want the league to do what is best for the league and results in more wins/exposure... even if I have to start streaming some games or paying for ESPN+. A split between Fox/ESPN with CBS as the secondary package would probably not be feasible given our limited content (no football and only 11 teams).

Anyways, I trust Val and the league. They've done a phenomenal job every step of the way. I'd really be fine either way.

I would prefer to stay with Fox. They’ve put a lot of effort into expanding their content and I prefer the announcers on Fox to ESPN. Plus ESPN is incessantly promoting the NBA (which I have zero interest in).

On a separate note - my one complaint with Fox/FS1, etc. is that at least once or twice a game (at least during an SJU game), they seem to get the score wrong where they credit a basket to the wrong team and it takes them a minute to figure it out. Not a big deal, but I’m always surprised how frequently it occurs.

Yep, agree with all of that. Fox's overall presentation is better than ESPN's so I don't mind the score screw ups, but it is odd. I also don't like the NBA or whatever else ESPN tries plugging.
