Seton Hall had both Michigan State and Oregon beaten, but took the foot off the gas and it ended up costing the Pirates. Myles Powell was great in both of the losses, but can't do it all especially late in the game. It will be interesting to see how Willard and Co. respond tonight after a brutal loss to Oregon.

Who had the LV line? NM UO -1.5
SH shoulda won, but UO had the line and the refs.

Refs definitely called it one sided but Hall took the gas off the pedal....

Yeah, and if you're not really running anything on offense other than Powell iso plays with under 10 on the shot clock, you're not gonna draw a lot of fouls. Seton Hall only scored 12 points in the last 21 possessions. Oregon scored 30 points in the same span. Just terrible mismanagement, letting the air out of the ball and running nothing legitimate for a lot of those possessions.

Hall will make the tourney as long as Powell is playing but these games are the difference between a 3 seed and a 7 seed and probably between 5-6 bids and 4 bids for the Big East.....

Nonsense. Hall blowing a couple games did not cost the conference 1-2 bids.

You dont think a Big East team with a high NET (with wins against MSU and Oregon) wouldn't help other Big East teams?

Of course it would, but that’s not the same thing.

Them losing those two games aren’t keeping one (or two!) teams from the tournament unless one team is Hall.
