Disaster for Georgetown, but could be better for the league overall this year. I now expect them to tank during Big East play and for the rest of us to mostly beat them. Still have 6 OOC games to get through, though, which will likely be ugly.

"Didn’t want to say since they are all rumors but the consensus is they both committed sexual assault, as well as robbing students of cash and weed on numerous occasions."
So I applaud Ewing if it is anything remotely related to this.
I'm sure this will ruffle a few Husky fan feathers but... the two old school BE programs that I found myself rooting against--even more than G'town--was UConn and Syracuse. Why? Because at Syracuse it was completely fine to hit a co-ed with a toaster and play the next day, and in Storrs you could steal some laptops and Big Jim wouldn't bat an eye. What I like about our current conference iteration is that these are program and schools that don't (seem to) act that way. Now I know that Nova players haven't been angels--phone card scam, and public urination, yada, yada...(And Creighton was named in the FBI suit)... But for the most part we have 10 now and hopefully 11 next year that run clean programs.
Good for you Patrick Ewing. The program is bigger than the player(s).
One student stealing laptops is slightly different than multiple students committing sexual assault, but ok....

I think one thing- this is where the NET is better than RPI for the Big East.....
Used to be if you had a 8-22 type of team they were a RPI bomb no matter what. Now if you beat them big, you won't slip much at all.
But yikes regardless of that, what an utter mess. Stuff that could hurt the program for years. (and no, I don't think that's any hyperbole).
