(3) Softer Wednesday Night in the Big East 12/18/19

yeah think you're probably right there. But not sure when else the timing could be- in November Big East has the Gavitt games and you have all those exempt tournaments... Early December Big East starting next year will have 2 conference games to play. Then you have exams with very few tough games. It almost has to be right there before the holidays.

With 18 game conference schedule, I'd rather do it in Jan or Feb (B12 does it with SEC), but yeah I don't know with 20 game schedule.

Almost certain that wouldn't fly with the Big 12- as they would then have no byes at all during Jan/Feb. They aren't moving the B12/SEC challenge IMO.....

And with that, the Johnnies' OOC is officially a success! 10-2 with 9 of the wins by 10+ points and the other against #12 NET WVU. NET should be in the low 60's tomorrow. We could lose to #16 Arizona by 50 and I'd still be very happy with our OOC resume.

Going to be really interesting to see St John's NET tomorrow. Yes they got a big win tonight. But both of their losses lost again tonight, with ASU by 40. Vermont also lost to UNC Greensboro at home. I wouldn't be surprised after tonight if the NET was pretty close to where it was entering today, #67.

Yeah wasn't following the other games last night (outside of the Big East). Johnnies dropped 2 spots to #69. Don't think we'll drop much after playing Arizona, so will likely enter Big East play in the low 70s with a Q1 win (assuming we lose to Arizona). 100% of Johnnies fans would have signed up for that pre-season. I was expecting us to be somewhere between our current resume and Providence's.

Key for St John's will be to keep it close. If they did lose by 50 like you said originally I could see the NET drop quite a lot. Arizona St dropped from 29-53. So a 20 spot drop especially this early is possible.
