Huge win for the Hall.... Should be in really good shape now with just a decent conference season.... Like Bogg said a huge difference entering conference play at 8-4 vs 7-5. Now 10 wins and it's a lock to make the tourney with absolutely no questions.

Now, I think Seton Hall can go 9-9 in conference with one win in the BET to lock up a bid at 18-14. Their KP SOS is 20 and will go up during BE play.

Excellent win Hall!!!! You really deserved it with the tough close losses. I thought they were going to blow it, but managed to hold on and likely added a Q1 win.

I think 10 Big East wins(be it conference play or BET)- if they go 10-8 and finish 18-13 they're lock city as well. Go 8-10 but then win 2 in the BET- either they're in the BET finals or they beat the 1 or 2 seed in rd 2. They'd be 18-15 and with a great SOS.

I think a neutral fan watching would say the same about both teams. Seton Hall with 0.78 points per possession to 0.72 for Maryland, ugh. The D1 average is 1.00 points per possession. I missed this game, but Xavier's win over Mizzou had similar efficiencies and it wasn't pretty lol.

Without your top two guys, though, you have to win ugly over a team like Maryland. Kudos to Seton Hall.

Congrats Pirates!!! Missed the game but happy to see them pull out the win....The Big East needed a win over the Big 10 too....I think they’re the only conference we had a losing record against.
