Today was the best regular season day in conference history. This conference is stacked from top to bottom - and to be honest, I'm not sure who exactly is going to be the bottom, but it's going to be fun. To recap -
Villanova takes down the #1 Jayhawks in Philly (how is Self still allowed to coach?).
Providence shakes off it's recent woes and puts a beat down on the Longhorns.
Creighton goes to the desert and takes down Arizona State on the road.
Butler claims Indiana as a BIG EAST state as it beats up Purdue.
DePaul reclaims the Windy City and knocks out Northwestern
Without it's best player, the Johnnies travel to San Francisco and take out #16 Arizona under Chris Mulin's retired banner.
With just one more game this regular season against the F5, Xavier will close out this thread tomorrow. Win or lose, we will not have a losing record against any F5 conference and will have winning records against the BIG XII, PAC-12 and SEC. We will also be at least 11 games over .500. I love this conference.
Sun. 12/22 - Xaiver vs. TCU
vs. ACC 2-2
vs. B1G 8-8
vs. SEC 5-2
vs. XII 10-3
vs. PAC 4-2
Total 29-17
Go Big East!

so looking at OOC winning % overall-
2020 94-25 .7899
2019 94-32 .7460
2018 101-23 .8145
2017 97-29 .7698
2016 95-30 .7600
2015 94-31 .7520
2014 94-31 .7520
this year what league has left vs D1 schools
La Monroe @ Butler 98%
UCOnn @ Villanova 76%
Villanova @ Temple 54%
Central Ark @ Marquette 99%
Xavier @ TCU 47%
American @ Georgetown 95%
go 6-0 and league is at 100-25. .800 I'd guess that the SOS this year is much better than 2 years ago(remember Georgetown was #351 for one).
Here is this year's OOC SOS-
Butler 104
Nova 17
Georgetown 11
Creighton 142
Seton Hall 100
DePaul 268
Marquette 53
Xavier 121
St John's 238
Providence 242
avg 129.60 (and this was BEFORE today)
2018 the avg SOS was 148.50
If the league can go 5-1 in the 6 remaining games- I'd say this year surpasses 2018.

The difference between this year and 2018 is that even though the Big East has a lesser winning percentage this year, it is significantly better than every other major conference by at least 3% or more which means ALOT! Back in 2018 there were 3 conference with winning percentages over 79% which means that it may have been a down year for the mid and low majors. Obviously there is a lot of game to play in ooc still but I think this year as of today is better than 2018. just gotta finish strong
