Those in the Catholic 7 will remember when the Big East was going through the turmoil from 2011 to 2013. We were told over and over that any separation by the Catholics would be the death knell for those schools. The C7 could never survive without being connected to football. There would be no TV contract, no way we could hold a tournament at MSG with the ACC wanting come in and there would been interest nationally in such a league. But the loudest refrain was we could never compete with schools that played big time football. We would never have the resources to attract the talent to compete and we would be a CYO league. Instead, the C7 brought in three exceptional basketball schools that feel like they have been here forever. We are now in season seven and have never- not one time- had a losing record against the Football 5. This season was an absolute run away. Congrats to DePaul, Xavier, Georgetown, Providence, Marquette, Butler, Villanova, Seton Hall, Creighton and St. John's on a great non-conference season. Now we will hate each other until selection Sunday - but it will be a fun hate. See you at the Garden. GO BIG EAST!
vs. ACC 2-2
vs. B1G 8-8
vs. SEC 5-2
vs. XII 11-3
vs. PAC 4-2
Total 30-17

The difference between this year and 2018 is that even though the Big East has a lesser winning percentage this year, it is significantly better than every other major conference by at least 3% or more which means ALOT! Back in 2018 there were 3 conference with winning percentages over 79% which means that it may have been a down year for the mid and low majors. Obviously there is a lot of game to play in ooc still but I think this year as of today is better than 2018. just gotta finish strong
BE vs B12 helps bring that number down. And the B12 vs SEC challenge will probably bring the percentage down further for those 2. Perhaps there's a push for tougher schedule nationwide.

Indeed. As of today the Big East WPCT is 79.34%.... the next best F5 league is 74.77%. THAT'S NASTY!!!!!!! This league is killing it
BE -> 79.34%

B10 -> 73.53%
ACC -> 73.65% (WEAK! LOL)
P12 -> 74.47%
SEC -> 69.74%

Wait, I forgot about ACC and B1G having played conference games already, which makes total win/loss record deceiving compared to 2017-2018 season.

Hey Marquette, GW11, & the rest of the Milwaukee “Big brothers”... Get ready cause we’re coming to take scalps for New Years! You’re on deck.

Big east teams still have 4-5 buy games left as well in the middle of conference season I think
