Fun game. Two teams playing hard and going at each other.

Who do you root for in a game like this(if you are not a Depaul or Hall fan/alum)???

I pull for ALL Big East teams, but when we hit conference play, I want this league to maximize tourney bids and seeds. I believe the best case scenario is for 2-4 teams to separate, followed by another 2-4 teams in a second tier.

The Hall has the advantage down the stretch - they've got a go-to scorer, and DePaul really doesn't.

I suppose it's important for the conference that Seton Hall not start out slowly in conference play. With "only" 8 wins in the OOC, a slow start in-conference would make things real tight come February.

DePaul had more talent than Seton Hall, but Seton Hall more veteran and savvy. Depaul took bad shots down the stretch and seton hall didn't.

Looked like DePaul was going to win for most of the game, but the Hall locked down on defense over the last 5 minutes and stole it.

The Demons are very good, no days off in the Big East.

I've determined that in non-MU games, I'll just root for the home team.

GG to X. We were fortunate to grab the early lead and hold on. I thought Steele had a really interesting quote in the post game. He said something along the lines of: “I don’t care about how many 3’s we hit; we’re the best 2 pt shooting team in the country. That’s who we are”. Hard to disagree with the last part of that.

You guys have so many weapons that can attack the rim. We struggled to stop you in the paint. As you guys are making your last mad dash comeback Naji, who was scoring at will in the lane, pulls up and jacks a couple of 3’s. I was so relieved to see him settle for those. I think X needs to listen to their coach. They can play very good D and they can attack the rim at Will. That’s your strength. Limit your 3 Pt attempts and you’ll be a better overall team. X is just not a good outside shooting team. But damn they are a load within 10 feet.
