Fun game, what a comeback by SJU. Shame they couldn't close it out.

Wow. Bummed with the loss but my God, that was one of the sickest games I’ve ever attended. I freaking love Mike Anderson. A shame we couldn’t close it out but insane we kept it close with no Heron and very little Figgy.

Butler is gonna have to figure out how to play with Baldwin on the bench. He was +20 tonight, and the team looked completely snakebitten when he was out.

GG Johnnies.

It looked like GTown without McClung and SJU without Heron would get destroyed. Both made runs to start the 2nd half, which was good to see. Obviously, St. John's made a much bigger run. It's disappointing for the Johnnies to lose that game. They truly had Butler on the ropes. But credit to Butler for digging deep and finding a way to win late. Johnnies are going to be a pain to play this season, especially when Heron is back.

For Georgetown tonight's a real killer. The next few games- @ Seton Hall, St John's, and @ Villanova.

The danger IMO this year is a team could get utterly buried early.

So crazy I wanted Butler to win so we crack the top 10 as a conference but wanted the Johnnies because of NYC on NYE and those fans were great and I love Mike Anderson already. That’s why the OOC is fun... that’s history now and it’s time to tape up the fists and prepare for a bloodied lip

Talk about a Jeckyll and Hyde game! Who controlled the tempo and style of play scored and held the other team to nothing! Think that we were a little sick and banged up, but that was all effort to get back in the game for St Johns! On to the next one! It's going to be a crazy season!
