Unfortunately, I deeply fear the season has peaked as it usually does in the non-con. In conference play, we usually get a reality dose of who we really are and not in a good way.

Let's not forget this. Marquette has turned the CHI Health Center into Fiserv Forum west. 4 straight wins there plus Markus Howard's 53 points last season to break Doug's 45 points vs Providence for the arena scoring record. They flat out own the place and boy does it pain me to say that.

Markus Howard is still there. Marquette is better now than a year ago. Jays have nobody on the team that can defend him. I can't see the Jays winning. Give me Marquette and Markus Howard goes off yet again for at least 45 points.

Cmon Jays, make me eat some crow.

Jays up 10 at half but disappointed it’s not more. Howard scored 9 points in about a minute so if he gets hot this could get very uncomfortable.

There's still too much time left in the season for him to screw this up. BUT! Credit where due, Mac coached a very good game tonight and I'm very happy. I'm gonna take some time off and eat some crow. Happy new year, guys! Go Jays!
