Our inbounding needs to be addressed, but I think personnel is part of the problem. We don't have Brunson posting up weaker defenders or Paschall/Bridges receive the ball over the top and attack the press in midcourt.

So we just need to find 3 more NBA players and we'll be fine?

It sounds really crazy but I think if there is a razor thin line between under thinking and over thinking things we have seemed to find it dead on as it relates to simple in-bounding of a BB. On one hand I have no idea why when a shot is made late in games, every player on Nova slows down, takes their time to set up and start moving and then they try to execute the same play over and over. The ball goes through the net, grab it and get it in before the other team is ready. We're not preparing to sequence DNA. Yet we allow the other team to get set up and then wait 3 seconds to even start moving. On the other side of the coin Jay freely admits that we have 3 inbounds plays. What? Talk about an easy scout. Watch some tape of other teams that don't have the same problem; spend 10 minutes at the end of practice and work this sh!t out.

I too have been perplexed by Nova's stalling (for what?) after made baskets for years.

I can only assume that Jay doesn't like having too many plays and that 3 was deemed enough for that specific inbounding situation.

you guys had the same problems when they were there though. it wasn't quite as bad, but it was still a problem. don't think it's personnel

I agree. It's been a problem over several years IMO. With other teams we were up by 15 many games and it didn't become an issue. This team has a far less margin for error.

Yeap, you were paying attention. We had some ridiculous talent kind of mask the problem, so yeah the core of the issue isn't personnel. Jay appears to be doubling down on his philosophy over set plays. Or maybe our current assistants aren't quite Howard/Dunleavy level yet. Lots of speculations.

Its really exciting to see Seton Hall play at such a high level.

They definitely have what it takes to go deep in the tournament. Very exciting team to watch. POWELL is the best CBB player in America! No doubt!

Definitely starting to see some separation in the standings... probably 3 tiers. The only one I’m surprised with honestly in Providence.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.
