Daffron24 wrote:Not sure what's so funny. If you've watched him he has a lot of potential. I also added that we have other players who will also be playing shooting guard, and that Vanders contributions that we lost will easily be made up. 15 pts, 3 rebs, 2 ast, 1 stl, not too worried about being able to make that up. If you want a good laugh why don't you watch your team play.

Rebuilding??? I thought last year we were a first weekend team and that's it. This year is completely different. We have to fill our pg spot after losing Junior, but that should be an easy task. We've got the two headed Wilsons in Duane and Derrick. Derrick is an excellent defender and he controlled the ball better than Junior did last year. We shall see how it translate when he gets more pt, but we also have a stud in Duane Wilson who I think will overtake Derrick after a few games. We lose Trent Lockett (signed by the Kings...didn't see that coming), who was a great leader and efficient player, but we have a stud 2 time JUCO all-american Jameel McKay who can fill that spot and more. Steve Taylor is also coming back as a sophomore who is more experienced, stronger, taller, and better than last year. Throw that in with potential NBA pick Jamil Wilson, Davante Gardner, and Chris Otule and we are set for big guys. As far as SG we obviously lose Vander, but he was decent at best most of the year. He really turned it on towards he end of the year and in the tournament. Yes it's a void we must fill, but we have Todd Mayo, brother of OJ as every announcer puts it, who was suspended to start last year and should make a big leap. Throw in our other top recruits in Jajuan Johnson and Deonte Burton and we have a deep team. Not really sure how you think we are rebuilding, but I think we could be a very good team come march. Miss the dance, ha, not as long as Buzz is at the helm.
