Other than the school you root for, who are you interested in seeing most in the Big East this year?

I'm rooting for Xavier for a few reasons. I have a weird view that I don't want anyone to have a bad year though. I wish the best for all of your teams (even though I don't like Butler, I respect them). Obviously, it is to the Big East's benefit for all the teams to do well in non-conference, because conference play is a zero-sum game.

So who else are you interested in?
Big East Basketball is what it's always been. Great competition nightly.
If the Atlantic 10 didn't suck, why is everyone looking for the exits?
There is a reason why the A-10 left a team in the Central Time Zone...SLU, your move.

I am looking forward to seeing Providence. They finished on a hot streak last year and return almost everyone minus Vincent Council. I don't expect most experts to pick PC as a team to finish in the upper division, but they have sleeper team written all over them & keep an eye on Brandon Austin, as a 6'6 guard he will be a match up problem.

Thanks Dumpster, Xavier could use your support.

Aside from Xavier, I am most looking forward to seeing McDermott and Creighton. I said last year if they beat UC, I would become a fan, and true to my word, I believe they are poised for a monster year and will be rooting for them to do so.

I would also like to see Providence pound UK.

Preseason & the NCAA's, I have to SJU. Their roster is really primed & loaded. During conference season & the most awesome BET  the only thing I want to see is an L next to [insert your BE programs name here]'s after they play SHU...especially at The Rock!

I'm most interested in seeing Butler this year. I think its important for the conference that Butler continue to be a strong program even without Stevens and success on the court for them this year could insure continued success in the future. For a close second, I'd like to keep an eye on Depaul. It appears that Providence, Seton Hall, and St. Johns are making moves to turn their programs around. Haven't seen it yet with Depaul and would not want them to become the Fordham of the Big East.

I'm really interested in seeing how far St. John's and Providence can go in their efforts to turn their programs around. I have high hopes and high expectations for both of them.

Providence, STJ, and Butler. Providence has been doing some great recruiting and I think they could be serious contenders in the next couple of years. STJ has crazy talent, but they haven't brought it together. I'm hoping they can bring it together to be competitive for a top-4 spot this year. Butler will be the most interesting team this year because they honestly could be a bottom feeder or they could be Butler and do very well. Only time will tell, but I'm very excited to watch the BE this year, and I wish every team the best of luck. I'd really like to stick it to other BCS conference (mainly ACC) and ESPN to show we are and will continue to be a top-tier conference.

Seton Hall. We need our NYC teams to return to prominence. It will help ALL of us with respect to recruiting.

I would say Xavier, have always admired their teams. Just like this new BE is good for PC, SJU and SHU. I think Xavier could use this to vault them to the next level.
