Creighton is playing the Owls of Kennesaw State, the only Owls in CBB smart enough to NOT be in the AAACCK.

Jays struggling. Nick B summed it up well…the Jays just need to slow down a bit. They’ve got the talent advantage but rushing on everything. I think teams will want them early in the conf slate. They’ll take some lumps early and will be a problem as the season progresses. They’ll figure it out.

I'm not saying MU is great or anything right now but this is what I imagine watching grade school basketball is like.

Close Friar game vs Sacred Heart til mid-2nd. 7 point halftime lead went up to 28 quickly. Fun being back at the Dunk.

Jays have shot dreadfully through our first two games. It’s been hard on the eyes to be honest. Fingers crossed, but I think most fans have realistic expectations (gtmo excluded).
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Thank God for ol git...

Allow me to guess what "realistic Expectations" means for you.

Non-conf 7-4 losses: @UN, @Paradise Jam (Colo St.), Ariz St-Home, and Neutral site BYU.
Conf 10-10
Reg Season 17-14 and praying for an NIT berth.

Nah bro...No thank you for your "realism". I will stand on my "ridiculous optimism"

They won't go 1/19 again, but you have to wonder if this is indeed a poor shooting team by coach Mac's standards. Interesting decision to redshirt the best shooter.

After the game Coach Mac said they shoot the 3 well during recorded live action in practice so lets hope its just small sample size/nerves etc.....
