Over the past four seasons, DePaul is 5-1 against the Big Ten.

We're in the wrong conference.

Over the past four seasons, DePaul is 5-1 against the Big Ten.

When I saw that I thought you guys must've scalped most of those games from Northwestern, but it looks like I'm wrong.

Well, I'm disappointed St. John's lost, but the Big East's excellent start to the season has somewhat made up for that.

And for St. John's fans, at least we only lost by 2 (for NET purposes). I know, I know... it sucks losing and I'm not happy about it. But this type of a loss won't hurt our NET. It's a shame our OOC schedule is so mediocre, but the Big East overall looks fantastic so we'll have plenty of more chances.

Others have said it, but wow, the last few minutes of the DePaul game were insane!

It would be an understatement to say I enjoyed the Xavier game too. Scruggs ending it with authority!

DePaul showed some Moxie down the stretch. I wasn't very impressed with their offensive flow (or lack thereof) most of the game. But, they stepped up and hit some big shots and got a few key rebounds in the end. And, the effort to tip the ball on the last missed FT was a heady play to keep Rutgers from having any chance of a last second half court heave. Of course, the very Creightonesque free throw shooting kept the game close. Make a few more from the line and the late dramatics don't even happen. Also, only played 7 guys, with four going 33, 37, 38 and 40 minutes? I don't think that's going to be sustainable. 6-2 against the self-proclaimed greatest college basketball conference ever. Nice!
