saw an interesting point about the COVID situation..... USC had sounds like all but 1-2 guys test positive....

Now when they get back, they don't have to test for COVID again for 90 days. That should take them thru the end of the season.

So all these teams that have tested positive like this might actually for the season now be at a pretty big advantage. With not much of a risk at getting shut down again.

Saw that UConn has 9 guys with COVID right now plus Hurley.

Going to be a thing once they get past this, they're going to be in good shape for the rest of the year I think.

Creighton women in Indy to play Butler today and the game gets canceled this morning by the Bulldogs. Sounds like $15k loss in travel cost for CU.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Interesting...

Xavier's men's basketball team received permission from the Big East Conference over the weekend to add a non-conference game to its schedule, multiple sources told The Enquirer, but those attempts to find an opponent on short notice for Tuesday were unsuccessful unless something miraculous happens at the 11th hour.

Xavier's already played 11 non-conference games this season, which would be the maximum allowed in order to play a full 20-game Big East schedule. The fact the Big East gave Xavier permission to add a game outside the league means it's safe to assume that a full 20-game conference schedule might not happen.

Interesting and a bit disappointing, to be honest. I would hope that the league office isn't already assuming games can't be rescheduled.

their schedule is tough to make things up. had one of their byes already. The other one is a weekend bye. Looks like they could make up 1 vs UConn on 2/11. UConn plays on 8th and 13th. X plays on 9th and 16th. So 11th would work.

The one vs Georgetown going to be really hard.
