I only see the honorable mention listed online, but Creighton, Marquette, and Xavier are all listed. Lots of good things said and also ?'s about the new Big East.

Honorable mention today

then they'll do 5 a day Tuesday - Friday.

Creighton, Marquette, and Xavier Honorable Mention.

I'm thinking Nova and Georgetown make the top 20. Neither in the top 10 though. Nova 20-15 Georgetown 15-10. Just a guess though.

I won't speak on other schools, but not sure how Marquette isn't ranked waaayyyy up there. The paragraph about MU really omits us because the "uncertainty" of the new BE which should have nothing to do with these rankings. In their guidelines they ask for a certain criteria: History: 31 tourney appearences, 3 final fours, runner-up, and a National Championship. Program Currently: 8 straight tourney appearances, 3 straight sweet 16's (one of 4 schools I believe), elite-8, top 10 recruiting class. Coaching: Well we had good ol' Tom Crean and than Buzz took over so obviously the sustainability is there. I understand they are questioning if he will stay, but not sure why. Buzz has never had an indications that he was leaving. Quite the opposite, he said he would stay as long as MU would have them. Budget: We have money, Buzz is top ten paid coach, our facilities are solid, we are second to Duke in money we put into our player in the country. League: This is where they must be knocking us because our league isn't as good as it was.....even though we haven't played a game yet. Well MU won the BE regular season last year and got second the year, and is picked 1st or 2nd in almost every poll I've read. Fan Base: Top tier in the country, top 20 attendance, we can drink at games (and yes I'm counting this), we don't have any other teams we cheer for, we are die hard MU basketball fans...as you can probably tell by my rant. Recruiting, top ten class this year, 9 players are in the NBA under Buzz Williams 6 years here (dat ain't not dat bad). To sum up my rant about this pointless article is that MU should easily be ranked higher if we actually compared the criteria they put forth with other teams.

/rant Gotta work.

Agree that Quette got robbed. Without a doubt a Top 20 program and a good argument for Top 10.

In no particular order, I'm guessing these teams in bold will def. be in the Top 20. So with 17 spots that seem solid, I guess 3 will come from the others. I'm thinking Marq. may have been "jobbed" on this... But if they had a more recent FF that prob would have helped. But your beef is valid.

SEC:
Kentucky
Florida

Big 12:
Kansas
Texas?
Kansas St.?

Big 10:
Indiana
Illinois
Ohio State
Michigan
Mich State

Wisconsin?
Purdue?

PAC 12:
Arizona
UCLA?

A-10:
VCU?

ACC:
Duke
UNC
Syracuse

Notre Dame? (just b/c they're ND)

AAC:
UConn
Lousiville
Temple?
Memphis?

West Coast:
Gonzaga

Big East:
G'town
Nova

As a conference overall (other than the Big 10 and ACC), I really like what we all bring to the table vs. the other leagues out there.
Go Nova!

Agree, at least you got all the Creighton votes! Still not bad company, but certainly they should be higher.

That's a good list, prolly right (except one BIG mistake, UCLA... ahem, the clear #1 until Calipari does 10 NCs in a row) still validates the fact Marquette should be top 15:
MU > Zaga, Ilini + other three unknowns.
