a bit different. The shot at the buzzer where make it and you tie or win, don't make it you lose- there's something about that that would totally be lost with Elam. Also if you're up 8 with 4 to go, if you play great defense and don't allow the other team to score, you shouldn't have to score more to win the game.

I don't think there's a shot that's coming to the NCAA any time soon. Not even been looked at as a experimental rule.

Oh, I agree that it's different and we'll miss some things. But I think the tradeoff is worth it and it'll lead to more watchable product on the court.
