Sounds like it's getting to Penny, for sure. But let's not act like college basketball's group-thinking media wasn't overrating Memphis like crazy in the preseason. They're the ones that built up the hype, then act surprised and calling this team the most disappointing team in the country after a few losses. Jerry Carino had it right when he was the only AP voter who didn't have Memphis in the top 25.

The Syracuse score today is something.

Auburn you figure after beating Kentucky by 9 should wind up #1 this upcoming week.

Yeah a bit of a surprise- Washington had won 3 in a row, including one vs Stanford who had been playing ok.

Oregon making a mad dash to the bubble. In Bracketville on Friday they had them as the 3rd team in the tourney already.

I was kinda hoping that it was an error and the game had ended with that score.

Oregon is basically PAC12's Marquette at this point. Good for the teams that caught them early.

Gonna help the WCC out some- BYU and Saint Mary's got them neutral early on. So both probably wind up with Q1 wins vs them;

WCC top 4 doing what they needed vs everyone else in the WCC. 11-0 so far. And 5th place Santa Clara is 1-0(and #82 in NET so pretty close to top 75). 4 bids still very realistic for them.

It'd be funny if WCC gets 4 bids, while MWC + AAC + A10 combine for 4. I'd need to see it to believe it.

Well at least so far they're doing what they need to do. Got 4 really key games left- Santa Clara has SF 2x and BYU and Saint Mary's 1 more time. Everyone else in the league is KP 150 or lower- that the 3 bubble teams have beaten so far by 15,24,26,22,8,13,15,32 points.

Former Marquette player Traci Carter played tonight for Hartford. This is his 7th year! And of course former Blue Demon Coleman-Lands is another 7th year player for Kansas. Are there anymore 7th year players? If Gillespie's a super senior, what do you call these guys?
