I kind of didn't think he was only because I thought there was a game that he had been on the bench, and then the next game he wasn't on the bench(and right after that is when Willard said it).

Since the injury sure only 5-4 but 2 q1 wins in there(@ St John's and vs Xavier) with 2 Q2 losses- St John's and Marquette at home. So a pretty decent eval there in the games w/o Aiken.

I thought he was BSing because I'd been hearing that he was close to returning - and it sounds like there was optimism but then he had a setback that ended it.

Yeah that was about 2 weeks ago- if you remember before the Xavier game he was out shooting before the game and then sat on the bench for the game. That was about 1 1/2 weeks ago. Kind of a natural progression of things. Yeah not back yet but getting there. Could totally see what you're saying there. I wonder if he got headaches or whatever from that game just being on the bench. Concussions can be so brutal.

USC survives against Washington St.

Been a lot of surviving today with good teams barely winning.

darn thought Missouri might actually beat Miss St.

Everything is wrapped up for the weekend. The update tomorrow morning should be very interesting. I'll have a new Tourney Watch up tomorrow morning.

Pretty good weekend for the BE. I think 7 is more likely than 6 for the first time this season. SJU still has a flicker of hope that doesn’t involve ruining another BE team’s bid.

Yeah thought so though think Marquette and Xavier will slip some- think UConn and Marquette may just flip spots almost. Will be interesting to see how down Xavier goes and does Seton Hall stay about the same given their pretty unimpressive Q3 win. Creighton with a decent jump up this weekend I think in a spot where they really needed it I think.

It feels like Marquette, Seton, and X are all destined to settle in that dreaded 7-10 seed range. Hell, maybe Creighton's headed that way as well.
