Glad to see Florida lose.

Pretty good night for St John's. If they win tomorrow they might be up to 2nd 4 out when this is done next time.

No disrespect intended, but based on what? Johnnies have basically no wins of any value the entire season that move the needle.

Tonight would be their 3rd win against a team in the tourney. If they can win that and Saturday @ DePaul, they'd be in position where maybe even 1 win next week gets them right in the thick of things(Xavier, @ Marquette).

It's not exactly like we say every single year the strongest of bubbles.

Also would say some teams that do have some decent wins like Oklahoma, Kansas St, and West Virginia- just don't have the overall record to get in. Oklahoma now is 14-14. KSU is 14-13. WVU is 14-13. You can say it's wrong- but no team that has been less than 4 games over .500 has gotten in a normal year(and yes, this is a normal year this year) since Georgia back in 2000-01. So that helps St John's out some.

point just saw on twitter- if Gonzaga wins out they probably will be the #1 seed overall no matter what....

2 regular season games left and 2 tourney games.

@ USF
@ St Mary's
WCC SF vs BYU or SF
WCC F vs St Mary's or Santa Clara

quite possibly 4 Q1 games left out of 4 games.

Arizona has 5 games left and 3 P12 games. Very possible if not likely only 2 Q1 games left with at least 2 Q3 games left.

Results wise, Creighton's in really good position. 1 more win probably makes them a lock, but can they win 1 more without a point guard? 11-8 BE team with only 1 Q3 loss should be a lock, but I worry that the committee can punish them for not having Nembhard.

I think they might get in- but they're going to be probably dinged seed wise as a result. Like even though probably should be like a 10 seed maybe dinged to have to go play in Dayton.

If they can still get the results necessary from their final few games to get in, they will. As Stever said, the committee will likely drop their seed due to the injury, but I don't think it will drop them out completely.

Right. Only way I could see them out realistically is if they lose out regular season, fall to 6 seed, and then lose to Georgetown in the 1st round of the BET.
