Yeah, this being a Big East board and Xavier being the only BE team currently on the bubble, it helps. BUT, I don't think X gets in with just a Wednesday W at MSG. There is way too much opportunity for movement in these large tournaments.
IMO, Indiana would be in if they make the B10 Finals because there would be multiple additional wins.....likely a marquee one. Same with Florida, no? Hell, I think if Oregon/VaTech make their Championship, that spells trouble for X.....it's even possible with BYU.
Also, if Drake beats Loyola for the 3rd time Sunday, that steals a bid because LUC has a strong enough NET to slip by. What about Davidson. Do they get in without an A10 crown? Probably, if they lose a close one in the finals.
Any/All of these scenarios would adversely effect a 20 win Xavier team that hobbled to the finish line.
