Nebraska-Omaha fired the only D1 coach in its history today. New AD was just hired from Creighton which has us wondering if he will look for someone on the McDermott coaching tree.

Saw Enfield from USC agreed to an extension thru 27-28 season. Was thought to be a big candidate at Maryland.

The Maryland job will be a fascinating hire. They were a brand in the ACC, and a great grab for the Big 10 commissioner Delaney, who always looked at the financial upside with TV ratings.

Interesting to have both Georgetown and Maryland down at the same time.

Yeah basketball here in the DMV is about as low of a point as I have ever seen it. Why when the rumor came around with Pitino/Maryland it was so scary because if that happened, Georgetown would be in a very precarious position(even more so than right now).
