Supposedly this kid has grown about 8 inches since his freshman year so he still has a lot of his guard skills. It will be nice if he can be that swing PF/SF that Xavier has been lacking for awhile.

Just an amazing recruiting effort for the BE. We have almost as many top kids as the ACC and they have a lot more teams. So much for the "new" conference growing pains. This conference really could be the new beginning of the old BE. It's exciting at the least!!!

I do think that opens up Bentil for Prov, if he wasn't already there. I wonder if prov will try to get both Bentil & PF Jaquil Taylor. Bentil seems to solid, but the updside of Taylor is hard to ignore also (Former Wolverine Maurice Taylor's son).

The other kid committed to VCU yesterday. I would think the rumors of Bentil to PC are true after this commitment for Miami last night although Temple is still involved and they are local for him.

In regards to Taylor I would say yes they would take him also with Brice Kofane graduating Cooley might just help him play his 5th year elsewhere to get some playing time and exposure.

FriarJ, how may open scholarships for '14 does PC have right now (assuming Kofane returns for his 5th year)?

If PC has at least two more, I'd think at this point Cooley would rather have Kofane back rather than make a reach for a marginal player and then use Kofane's spot for '15. Kofane seems to be a good student and hard worker so I think he'd rather keep him around instead of taking a late gamble. Unless Kofane wants to move for playing time.
