When did the Big East rule of not allowing transfers between Big East schools end?

Last summer if I'm not mistaken. The next BE to BE transfer will be first in history, I think?

Agreed it sucks, but once every other major conference changed the rule, we had no choice but to do the same. If Akok goes Georgetown, the games may get extra chippy next year after the spat he had with the guys that stayed.

The rule change is necessary given the immediate eligibility change. Other conferences like the ACC did this a couple months before us. It's much better to keep players in the Big East than have them leave to other conferences.

On that note it's sounding like Jones may go to St. John's, which would likely make the Johnnies a pre-season projected Tournament team.

Think only like 2 conferences don't allow transfers in conference. Big South and 1 other conference(maybe Southern Conference?).

I think I'm going to list BE to BE transfers in both incoming and outgoing lists. It's weird, but not as weird as being absent from both lists.
