Iona lost to SMU yesterday at the Diamond Head tournament.

Iona without a brothel is still better than Louisville without a brothel. (Or has slick Rick found a Madame in New Rochelle  ?)

Gonzaga barely won at San Francisco last night. They were down by as many as 11 at one point, played lackluster ball, and only took the lead with under 10 seconds to play.

They pulled it out mainly due to their SG Bolton, who drilled 3 or 4 crazy deep threes late in the game to make up a late 7 point deficit.

Anyway, they either were bored on this one night, or else they are a serious notch down from recent years.

I hadn't even thought about Gonzaga this season. Which should be a reason why the Big East won't add them. Unless they are undefeated and ranked #1, they might not move the needle.

Yeah, i've been a longtime supporter of adding them, but circumstances have changed a bit. We'll see how things play out for them this season, but they didn't look dynamic and fun to watch like in the past.

Wow. Not exaggerating when I say that the Zags have been completely off my radar all season long. Maybe they are still the best addition if the Big East ever wanted to expand, but it's not as crystal clear as it used to be.

Why does Indiana get hyped every year?

Its so annoying. They always get ranked early on and then poo their way out
