Sure Nova plays hard every game (unlike St John's), and the roster isn't overmatched (Butler), so games tend to be close, but this team ain't winning 4 games in 4 days. Nova has repeatedly run isolation sets down the stretch with poor isolation players (can't pass) in Daniels and Dixon. Nova has out-assisted its opponent only once in Big East play, that's kind of mind-boggling considering we don't get to the line either. We've played better since the awful trip out west, but it's since been kind of a plateau with late game meltdowns.

Realistically, Nova would need to sweep Seton Hall to have any shot at the 6 seed. A split and Nova has 9 BE losses, and SH has 8 BE wins. SH would need a combination of 4 SH wins/Nova losses to get the 6 seed minimum. Given they still have games left with DePaul(today) and Georgetown, and Nova has a brutal schedule left- that's almost certain.

Actually I’m kind of expecting Villanova to pull off an upset of UConn in the final game of the season. Justin Moore should have his groove back by that time.
