It's amazing the games like Indiana/Iowa. Depending on who you are you either love or hate the result. For UConn, Xavier, and lesser extent Marquette- great result. For Providence especially, and lesser extent Creighton, not so great.

Nova has likely moved into the picture with this win. Still a very tall mountain to climb, and a whole lot of scoreboard watching. Charleston starts its conference tournament this weekend and I'm not sure if I want an early loss for them or not. It'll be a crazy next couple of weeks!

Yeap Nova sneaks in to the picture, basically replacing Seton Hall. Hopefully it's not a Texas AM run from last year.

Yeah I think Saturday is absolutely critical obviously. Where I have pause with you guys is right now you're sitting on 2 Q1 wins. UConn would be 3. BET QF would be 4. That's still pretty low compared to some of the teams on the bubble. Don't have any wins that could morph into a Q1 win either really. Like I said last night, wish Moore had been back a week or so sooner, where he would have been better hopefully that first week back where you had 3 games you barely lost- where even bagging 1 of those games would have made a huge difference right now.

If we're looking at it fairly and assume every game counts the same, I agree with you that Nova resume would look weak without a BET finals appearance at minimum. If Nova gets an at-large, we'd be indebted to the committee. What's encouraging is that the national media has been making excuses for Nova and Creighton all season, so the committee certainly knows about the turnaround.
