Yeah, this was a really down year for them. It's too bad, there are some teams in that league I really enjoy cheering for. SLU, VCU, Dayton, and Davidson are fun to follow when they're knocking off the big programs.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I'm reluctant to admit this here, but I was at the A10 semifinals at Barclay's today. (got offered a ticket at the last minute from a friend.) I was pretty impressed with VCU, and even more impressed with the size and enthusiasm of the crowd they brought with them. If we expand down the road, who knows who'll be available, but I wouldn't rule them out automatically. On a side note, there were six Marquette guys sitting in front of us, who left after the VCU game to head to the Garden. To say those guys are walking on air would be understating it. I can only imagine how they're feeling tonight, after Marquette's dominating performance in the BET finals. What a great story Shaka and Marquette have been this year.

It'll be interesting to see where Duke is tomorrow. Do they get over Xavier?

No bids stolen this year... amazing! I guess VCU can lose tomorrow and be a massive surprise at-large, but chances are slim

Yeah for sure. Think that loss to Jacksonville kills them. And the fact they have 0 Q1 wins and 4 Q2 wins.

C-USA gave its teams more Q1 opportunities than the A10. I hope VCU wins tomorrow because the weak A10 wasn't really their fault.

1 thing that was so weird this year is how chalky things were...
In the P6 10 of 12 teams in the finals were 1 and 2 seeds. with a 4 seed along with 10 seed
in the next 6 conferences 11 of 12 teams were top 3 seeds. with a 5 seed.

Don't know that I ever recall a year quite that chalky.

Just a general observation, but I think he is giving too much weight to conference tourney results outside of top 25 or so teams.

it's possible. I think though this year has teams bunched up closer together than norrmal, where the conference tourney results would matter more than normal.

Beauty is in 17 hours, we'll know for sure!
