Will be the best year since realignment.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

I guessed 14, and it's funny now- that would be a disappointment. That would be Creighton winning in the sweet 16, but then losing in Elite 8, UConn losing in the Elite 8, and Xavier losing in the sweet 16. Going into the tourney, that'd have felt great but now? a disappointment.

Would need 15 to top 2017 and 2018 with 11 teams. Ideally we get good seeds and more teams in the field, as it's hard to rack up serious amount of credits with only 5 teams. It's early but next year looks promising for the conference.

Better this set up than 6 or 7 teams but 2-3 teams in the 7-10 pit of misery. 2017 league got 7 teams in, but only got 13 units. Why? 5 teams were seeded 6 or lower.

It's no coincidence that this year has been so good with the first time since the redo the league having 3 top 4 seeds.

The COVID tourney was set up to be a monster year for the Big East as I recall.

Sadly very true. Love how KP has it where they have the bracket Matrix predictions- from 2020 they have it as 2 2's and a 3.

But alas that tourney never happened.

To me, your seeds mean more than your # of teams.

Unless you're the Big Ten. They seem to get high seeds and lots of teams and still stink it up every March.

I agree, but it's hard to go 8-2. And again, we need UCONN and Creighton to win their next games to top 2017's 7 teams.

2017 - 7 bids 13 credits

Your post on page 1 showed the above. This year is already at 13.

not if you're seeded the way the league was this year. Yes, UConn got lucky, but then again, Marquette didn't.

Would it have been nice if Nova or Seton Hall had gotten in? Sure. But not at the cost of the seeds of the top 4 teams.
